Travel Fashion Tips and How It works!

Packing while traveling can be very difficult as clothes and accessories will always be a big question mark. There is no rule about wearing comfortable shoes and cargo pants while you are traveling. You can of course look good and explore a new place as you go if you just follow these easy travel fashion tips.

Dress For The City

Dress for the city
Unless and until you are trekking in Nepal or at the glaciers in Antarctica, you don’t need to get out your adventure clothing. Dress for the city and not make it a uniform. When you are in your own city, do you wear cargo pants and hiking boots? Of course not. Similarly, you don’t need to dress with so much care in a foreign city too. Yes, you can’t carry a lot of luggage, but then find something in between that doesn’t scream ‘tourist’ nor says anything about your lack of travel fashion.

Walk The Walk

Walk the walk
Comfortable shoes are a necessity when you are travelling, but jelly shoes are not your only option. There are a lot of comfortable shoes that look equally stylish today. You don’t want to walk around the clobbered streets and then have a romantic dinner in something ugly! Yes, you are travelling and walking more than usual and exerting yourself, but you don’t have to look like you are on a mission to do it.

Back To Basics

Back to basics
The limited luggage space is going to be difficult to muster when you are trying to pack all your favorite clothes. To avoid doing that, you just need to follow a basic travel fashion tip and that is to pack a few simple clothes that will go with everything. Some bold colored tees, white shirts, jeans, t-shirt dress etc… will help you get through the day in a chic yet comfortable way.

Dress Natural

Stick to natural fibers as they let you breathe and are easier to wash as well. Don’t pack synthetic fibers which will make you sweat in hot climates and won’t keep the cold away in winter areas. For example merino is excellent for cool areas where cotton will save the day during the summers.

Respect The Culture

Respect the culture
always respect the area you are travelling to. Thorough research of your destination is necessary as you will need to pack accordingly. This might even mean covering up more than usual and packing handy scarves if you want to visit mosques or temples. Some areas are less tolerant than others and your cultural impeachment might be seen as offensive. The idea is to blend in with the crowd and not stand out.

Bags Are Your Friends

Bags are your friends
you will carry more than usual when you are travelling in your bag; a camera, note book, sketch pad, sun cream etc… it is important that you choose a handy yet sturdy bag to keep all your things. This doesn’t mean that you wear a trekking bag and announce to the whole world that you have expensive items waiting to be snatched.
