I love traveling and being a travel blogger, I get to experience different cultures, try different cuisines and visiting the famous attractions of every destination has become one of my hobbies. Recently I traveled to LA for a two weeks stay and I loved the city so much that I have planned to visit it again with a couple of my friends. For those who are traveling to LA for the first time, I thought it will be great if I made a list of top things to do in Los Angeles – which I believe you MUST definitely do when visiting.
If you are big movie lover like me, then I’m sure you would not miss the chance to visit Warner Bros. Studio VIP tour. You get to visit the sets of some of the most famous movies. You not only get to see sets of different movies but can inspect the props and costumes of different stars too. Plus you get to ride around in a big cool limo.
Have you seen the movie Friends with Benefits? Well, I have and I remember the scene where Jamie climbs the Hollywood Sign. I wanted to do the same as soon as I saw it. Traveling to LA and not visiting the Hollywood sign is just like traveling to New York and not visiting the Statue of Liberty. Don’t miss this one because it has to be done.
So what if you are not a big fan of hiking. No worries, there must be something you like to do. Well, I like hiking and horse-riding both so I hiked to the Hollywood sign and I even traveled to the place by riding on a horseback. It was the coolest experience I ever had, so do try it and don’t miss it.
Universal Studios is famous for its theme parks and amazing roller coasters. It’s so big in California that the theme park has its own city. If you want to enjoy it fully then you must dedicate entire 2 days to see everything in there.
I know deep down we all are in love with our favorite Celebs and want to know where they eat, walk their dogs, shop and sleep. When in LA, the dream can come true. Hire a luxury tour car and check where your favorite celebrities live and what they do.
Okay, I know you must be thinking that Disneyland is for kids, right? But seriously we all are kids on the inside, so spare a day and spend your time at Disneyland. After all, it was the first one built by Walt Disney in California. Spending my day at the Disneyland in LA was amazing.
Santa Monica Pier is the most colorful and vibrant place; with entertainers at every corner it is full of life. I recommend that one should visit this place in the evening before the sunset and watch the beautiful sunset over the ocean.
